Northwards Expansion
The city of Hyderabad - Bhagyanagar started expanding northwards across the Musi from the 19th Century. A series of villages came up which were later amalgamated into the twin-cities, still continuing to be known by their original names. These villages were - Mallepally, Nampally, Gowliguda, Lingampally, Kachiguda, domalguda, saidabad, nallakunta, Ramkote, Malakpet, Seetarambagh, etc.
